As of May 26, 2020 Kinesiologists and other Regulated Health Care Practitioners, when all necessary precautions and protocols are in place to protect patients/clients and themselves, can gradually and carefully begin providing all services, including non-essential services.
The goal is to keep the clients safe as well as the practitioner so they can continue to provide their services.
Although the ability to return to work is allowable, public pools and gyms have limited access, if they are open. In the Collingwood and surrounding area, the only space that is currently available for Pure Movement to use is Lemonade Collective (gym/pool) in Thornbury. If you are interested in continuing with your aqua therapy sessions and are willing to drive to Thornbury or have access to a private pool, please let us know and we can set something up. A gradual return to work will be implemented to keep all parties safe.
Changes implemented immediately are as follows:
Symptom Screening for all Patients/Clients
Use of Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Enhanced Hand Hygiene and Cleaning Practices
There is currently a waitlist to get in for aqua therapy sessions with Victoria at the Centennial Pool in Collingwood. Please be patient as we work through all of the inquiries. Land-based exercise and rehabilitation is still available with no waitlist.
